Is this a good path to go?

I was thinking about how to start my cert path, i wanted to start with a test that is entry level to build some confidence and to build some foundation. I also wanted to set a path so that each test would kind of help with the test after that, for example, ill take the net+ and go off to my CCENT/CCNA or take the server+ to build the MCSA/MCSE.
What i would like to do as a career path would be network security.
I would like to know if this path of cert taking would be good to follow? What should i add or what should i take out?

You probably won't get to those until a year or so from now, and it'll probably take you 12-18 months to complete the track. I'm sure there will still be plenty of demand for Server 2003 and MCSEs. The knowledge isn't going to hurt you, but it may not be the best use of your time. Just something to think about.
