NT question

On our NT server, it's set up(by somebyd before me) that you can only login as "admin". If I try to log in as administrator or any new user I create, it says:
"cannot find domain controller for this domain"

Anybody has a solution for this??

does the server have an IP address? is the machine on a domain? if not create local acccount for whoever will need access to the box..
