hi all

I was wondering.. i guess have two questions in general
major difference b/n win xp home and pro & which is covered on 70-270
and also its difference with the 70-210 win2000 pro ?

70-270 tests on Pro, not Home. The biggest difference being Home cannot join a domain and features such as EFS are not available. As far as the exam goes, you'd better have Pro to work with-- Home won't give you enough practice area to work with.

As for 2000 Pro & XP Pro, the differences are not much to a casual user, but if you are testing on it it's not enough to use one over the other. MS will hit you with questions that bring out the nuances that make the two OSes unique. I work in an environment conisisting of both and recognize the difference in default share permissions.

Please dont think because you studied one you can pass the other because they are similar.
