Recently as I have been reading different whitepapers and such I seem to see more people with the CIPP designation. The cert(s) seem pretty straight forward I never pursued them because I haven't seen any demand or the cert being called out in any job postings.
I could see how it could be a benefit on the consulting or for a managed service offering but is anyone else aware if the CIPP is finally starting to gain some traction?

Only two postings at dice.com reference CIPP, so I'd say that's not much traction. Still, if your game is being a privacy consultant, you should probably consider it along with the CISSP.
