What kind of LDAP server are you asking about here and what types of clients will be authenticating to it?

Setting up openLDAP on Red Hat servers to communicate with other Red Hat/Solaris servers.

hi darker,
which one will be the server? will it be the red hat or solaris? and which client will authenticate using ldap?
i'm not too deep exploring ldap, but it pretty much simple on installation - and consider using phpldapadmin, or webmin, way much simpler.
do you need any other specific requirement?
