Congrats! 1 exam left...soooo close you can taste it? :D

I didn't think ISCW was that bad, but it did get kind of boring with the endless VPN stuff. Tons of SDM configuration. I really enjoyed MPLS, though...good times there!

After taking three Cisco professional level exams I have figured out what works for me but I can't guarantee it will work for everyone (you can always try it).

I used the following study materials:

    ONT Official Exam Certification Guide
    ONT Lab Portfolio
    ONT Quick Reference Sheets
    CBT Nuggets

I read the book first and then watch the videos while taking notes. I then use all books, notes, and any other material to write notes in a notebook that match up with the blueprints for the exam. While I work on my notes I also work labs. I first work my way through the lab portfolio to get a basic idea of configs and labs and then begin setting up my own labs. I spend the last week before the exam in review mode. If you want to know anything else just let me know.

As for the exam, all I can really say is know the blueprints. I didn't like ONT as much as the others because it seemed to me to be more theory and less configuring. I did enjoy learning what I had to know for the exam and always walk awaying knowing more than when I started. The wireless section can be hard because of not having access to the equipment.

In the end, you feel icon_cheers.gif posting your pass and we all give you the big icon_thumright.gif

I think “very senior” gets stuck in there because the last six yahoos that applied for the position couldn’t tell a packet from a Snickers bar.
