Anybody use openQRM for managing VMWare Server or ESX? Before I dig into openQRM myself, I'd like to know of other people's impressions, trials, and tribulations with using it.

I don't know much about it, but I know a few people that use it. I saw them using it for a while and they seemed to like it.

You ever end up using openQRM?

I think I'm going to load up a bunch of free ESXi's and see how well they can be managed by openQRM.

I never did much with openQRM, and I haven't looked at it in over a year, so I don't know what's been fix/added to it. As it turns out, there is now a Java toolkit on sourceforge for controlling ESX/i servers using the VI API that's working well for us. But that's only useful if you are intereted in writing your own, openQRM-like applications.
