Motivation...

I need some motivation to study really hard. I've got the 83-640 coming up in 1 month, and I really need to hit the books, but I feel really lazy and don't want to complete it right now... any tips or stories to get me going?

I'd much rather read forums than textbooks, lol...

    83-640 why don't you do 70-640 instead.I heard that 83-640 is a lab exam. Any ways if your not motivated take some time off the pc or the books and after a few days if your motivated enough you can return to studying. Also if your board of reading books watch some active directory 2008 videos and try and get motivated by performing the tasks on a machine.

    I usually look at job postings that are looking for people that have the certification you're trying to achieve. Every time I saw that higher paying salary for having that cert (experience too) it made me realize what I'm doing is worth it!

    Take a week off and recharge; it's easy to burn out. Make sure you limit yourself to a week, otherwise it'll get really hard to get back into.
