Eventvwr >> SQL Express?

I am looking to redirect the eventvwr logs from my some workstations and servers into one central logging server. SQL express hopefully. Anyone ever done this? Have any good links on the subject?
Also wouldn't mind redirecting all cisco switch and router too if possible (they use Kiwi at this time).

How many servers/workstations and do you have a budget or is this a "free" project?
