Experience on taking the MCDST

I have been working for an IT computer for 3 years, troubleshooting issues from 9x to Vista now. Am I capable of passing this test? Or do I need a book to show me appropriate material? Also how much is the test? Thanks

You could look through the exam objectives on MS website and if there is something you don't know or feel you could practice, do some hands-on. You could probably find a used MCDST set on ebay or amazon.
The exams aren't difficult, especially if you have some experience.
