"The beast" wasn't so beastly as I expected. I was nervous because I was scoring horribly on my Self-Test practice exams. But I'd been studying for over 2 months and figured I had to take it sometime.
The actual test questions weren't half as wordy as the practice test. Heavily weighted toward DNS and DHCP, but know RRAS and routing.
I used MS Press, Exam Cram, CBT Nuggets, and SelfTest.
That upgrades my MCSA to 2003. I'm thinking about just going to the 2008 exams or maybe CCNA. Our company is "exploring" 2008 server so I want to be ready.
I also find myself more and more having to troubleshoot LAN connectivity and I always have to go to a vendor to log onto our switches.
