Jaunty Jakelope on virtual PC

Hi

Am trying to get my peeps on this baby and in virtual pc i get the following message

"This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU."

My CPU is a E4500 core 2 duo running Windows 7 RC 1

Can anyone pliz help

While the E4500 does support 64 bit it does not support Intel's virtualization extensions. I haven't used VirtualPC specifically but all the other virtualization platforms that I've used require those extensions to run a 64 bit guest, regardless of the host. That's probably why you can't run Jaunty. I'd check for a 32 bit build.
