Hi,
I may have a stupid question, but I owuld liek to know that .
I am working with backups quite often, but always its some non system files.
But scenario:
I fully backup a system partition C: - now after one day something goes bad, I am able to boot etc but lets say the system has a virus or something like that. And I want to revert.
How does the system handle it? How is is about restoring the system files? They are locked because they are actually used by the OS because its running... does the system reboot and restore before booting into OS?
Please bring me a bit light into restoring a system drive ...
Thank you
Oliver
P.S.: Sure I should know that - I always use some 3rd pary software but this time I wanted to use the winbackup and need to know this.
P.P.S.: Yeah - I could test that on a virtual machine but if I get a answer here it wont be needed
