I hope someone can offer advice on this. Recently I've decided to redo DHCP for our servers. There are 5 buildings with about 30 reservations for each building. Each reservation is for a printer and has some random printer name. I took the time to rename them properly to the room number last night. This morning I come in and about 5-8 of the names have reverted to the random names they had yesterday. The other half now have the domain name extension added to their name. Why is this happening? No one else on our network has changed these names so I can't figure out where the changes are coming from.
