85mbps Homeplugs Vs 200mbps Homeplugs

Has anyone owned both speeds of homeplugs?

I currently have the 85mbps ones and am wondering if the 200mbps ones are much better?
dependant on quality of internal cabling obviously...

I am trying to increase the speed - transferring big files takes ages!

Yes. HomePlug AV should double at least the throughput you're getting. HomePlug AV and HomePlug devices can't talk to each other though so you need to upgrade them all.

ahh right i didnt know they couldn't talk to each other!
looks like i will have to replace them and sell the old ones.

They will coexist on the same wiring. They just can't talk to each other.
