Windows 2000 ERD
Does the ERD store information about virtual memory?
I'm only asking because recently someone I know had either inadvertently disabled their virtual memory or something weird happened and there was no way to restore it (that we could figure out).
Also, is there a way to restore old settings for your virtual memory should the ERD not contain this information.
Feel free to throw in any other informative information that is related to this question in any way.

lazyart Member Posts: 483Virtual memory is the swap file, which can be adjusted from the System Properties page. Allow Windows to manage the swap file is the default setting.
It might be easier to change it thru safe mode as you will have less programs running.I'm not a complete idiot... some parts are missing.
