857W Wireless multi Vlan Radius

Hi Guys
I have been asked to configure an 857W as an Access Point with multi SSID's Radius Authentication and a guest WPA network.
Now I have very little experience with Wireless at best but in this situation I am feeling this product will just not do what they want unless I am missing something big time.
There seems to be a limitation of only 1 vlan supported on the device for starters "could be an IOS/Hardware limitation" this would stop network segregation big time I would think.
Am I right in thinking this or am I just being daft?
Any help or advice much appreciated
Cheers

tiersten Member Posts: 4,505You need Advanced IP Services for VLAN support in the 857W. I guess you've got the default Advanced Security IOS?

will have a look if they have enough flash / mem to support it!
i am thinking by the time we pay cisco all the upgrade cost's we may as well buy a AP.
Cheers for the help

BADfish10 Member Posts: 88 ■■□□□□□□□□Hmm. Sorry. Looks like I was wrong. I've got a 870 and that does need an IOS upgrade to support VLANs. The 850 however, only has 1 version of IOS and that is AdvSec. The 850 only supports VLANs for wireless.
Well thanks for clearing that up
they will need to buy a Real AP
Cheers
