Virtual SAN, how it is usable and which are benefits
Hello all,
I would want ask how much is reliable deploying a virtual SAN and which are its real benefits.
I would know it by a person that tried this solution in the real world or even just for trying, but effectively deployed a virtual SAN, though.

Is that for real? How do you virtualise striping and multiple hard disk reading/writing? Really don't need another technology to try n grasp. -

A virtual SAN doesn't virtualize the storage part, just the network part. More like a VLAN.

Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands... -

Well kind of if you install a virtual SAN in a virtual environment you TECHNICALLY use a virtual disk which is, truly enough, a chunk of physical hardware 
But as for the performance, I would really just recommend it for testing only. The IO is really, I mean really bad My own knowledge base made public: http://open902.com
