At the beginning of June I noticed that the 2nd chance was ending, so I signed up for the exam. I hope that Microsoft continues the 2nd chance, it's probably the best thing they have ever done. I just passed with a 715, however I passed. I used the Microsoft press book, exam cram and trancender practice exams, also this web site has been a great place to get information.

Why don't you skip the Vista exam and do Windows 7? People have gotten their beta results, so the real exam must be nearing developmental completion. Windows 7 is set to be released on October, 22nd, so all things considered, I really wouldn't bother with Vista. You should set a goal of knocking out 291 and 293 by October, 22

I 2nd Dynamik's advice. Especially if you are intending on having the certs geared more to the corporate environment. Windows 7 will be a far better exam for you to have on your resume.
