I'm using VMware workstation 6 and the last few days whatever media I use (only tried linux) it's finding errors.
I just did a media check within the VM for opensuse 10.3 and it says 'MD5 sum does not match' I know i've used the disk before in VM why has it started having problems?

Is this a physical CD or an ISO?
Have you ran an MD5 check against the disc/image outside of VMware? That will help you isolate where the problem lies.
