Hey you all!

I am curious what types of authentication servers do you all use for your say VPN access and Cisco device access? I just want to know what you all are using. Cisco Works is that still being used and how good is it compared to a windows Ad TACACS? Thanks a bunch!icon_cool.gif

I compile Shrubbery Networks version of tac_plus since the most recent release of Debian was nice enough to remove it from the repos. /grumble

We use ACS/RADIUS for our login/VPN stuff.

I guess I could be a little more specific -

Very few people need access to our network gear, so it's authentication is seperate from everything else, and for that, we use a compiled version of tac_plus

For the rest of the companies authentication needs, we run FreeRADIUS connecting to OpenLDAP on the backend that handles everything else, including VPN authentication (we don't use any hardware appliances for our VPN termination, we setup dedicated vpn servers)
