I'm going to assume one of the 2x chips is going bad? icon_sad.gif

Is this just "ram" or is it worse than that? icon_sad.gif

Thanks for you time!

    Router(boot)#erase flash

    System flash directory:
    No files in System flash
    [0 bytes used, 16777216 available, 16777216 total]

    Erase flash device? [confirm]
    Are you sure? [yes/no]: yes
    Erasing device... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ...NOT erased
    Router(boot)#

    Also, getting this... icon_sad.gif

Going to assume this will fix me up?

I'm wondering if it's even worth it? I have another 2520 that seems to be fine, and I plan to get another router anyway... Hmmm.

The 2500 has 2 flash modules in it, 1 could be defective or might need to be reseated. If you are going to replace it you could probably just buy 1 module. You can try to figure out which one is bad by removing them one at a time but from the error message it looks like bank 1 is your trouble.
The only easy day was yesterday!

Yea, I tried to reseat them, but no joy. I just picked up the one chip - saves me some cash. :)

Also, you linked me "Cisco Feature Navigator" for my ios question the other day, and it was a lot of help (Thanks!) for my routers, but I couldn't seem to find my switch on there - it's a WS-C3512-XL-EN.

Am I doing something wrong, or does it no list older than dirt switches hehe. icon_sad.gif

Thanks again for all your help!
