Network Administrator/Technician help

Hi there,
Ive been wanting to get into a Network Administrator/Technician role, but never actually knew of everything they deal with.. So, i guess im here to ask those who are in similar roles. What exactly do you deal with and have you got any tips on qualifications/experience of anything i could do with getting.
Go ahead and ask me any questions too and i will try and answer them for you!

network admin and technician are two distinct jobs.
Network admin of course deals with network-related stuff, but don't let the title fool you. You could be working on servers, printers and anything that touches the network. Although most likely your jobs will be restricted to improving networking performance and fixing its issues.
Technician job is very broad; you could be working on servers, routers, printers, photocopiers and anything IT-related, e.g. projectors, and even cameras.
