Hey guys,
I know that as a regular registered user you can get the switch IOS files. Who actually can access the router images? I am curious in case I would ever purchase a router with an older IOS. Also, how hard is it to replace a router's power supply? Is it pretty simple like one in a PC?

I am not sure what model you have but it is pretty easy and yes similar to replacing a PC although I would check the fuse in the power supply to make sure that didn't blow.

If you're going to purchase a refurb'd router, I would ask the person selling the item to give you the output of the "show version" command so you can verify the IOS. HTH.
