MS Exam Voucher Expiration time.

All of the vouchers I have purchased in the past have been good for a year.

I bought a voucher from IT Exam Vouchers - Discount Certification Exam Test Vouchers back in late February.

Per their website

Our exam test vouchers have an expiration of up to one (1) year. Check out our Specials page for short life vouchers that save you even more!

I bought a regular voucher. The voucher I was given apparently expired just 4 months after it was issued. I went to schedule an exam and was told my voucher was expired. I went and found the receipt. I'm kind of upset because the voucher cost me $120.

I told them I wanted my money back or a new voucher. What says you?

they say vouchers are good for 9-12 months.

If had a similar problem with GetCertifiedForLess.com (I think that was the company). I emailed them and they issued me another number. Took less than a day to resolve. Have you emailed or called anyone?

Here is their response. I've never had the "Free Second Shot" cause a standard voucher to expire when the second shot did. I paid regular price for the voucher.

When you place a order with us, we state when all the vouchers expire. I am sorry, but we cannot issue you a refund. The voucher you bought was a promotion through Microsoft, and the expiration date was June 30, 2009. Did you call about your order at all when you ordered it ?

I'd be pissed, but there really isn't much you can do...

I had a lot of troubles with the Prometric web site for 2 months, and tried calling, but all the appointments for the testing centers withing 150 miles of me were full for the month before my vouchers expired. I WAS PISSED. Microsoft couldn't extend the vouchers, and Prometric has zero to say about it.

I am going to finish my MCSA, then I'm going the Cisco route and Pearson Vue from now on. I've had a lot of great experiences with them. Every time I've gone to a Prometric center, they've put all their old PC's in the testing room (all the others in the schools were upgraded to new LCD's, and post-Pentium 3's). Imagine a 60 Hz CRT with a P3-600 Mhz PC. Lame.

Oh, off track. Again!

It already sounds like they aren't going to do anything. But, what these companies don't realize is that people talk. From their response to your issue, I've crossed them off a list of getting vouchers. Thanks for the heads up.

I hope you can either get a refund or at the least a new voucher.
