moving on to 298

I just passed 298 today with a 811 (thought I did better but I'll take it). My question is how much overlay is there from 298 --> 299? 299 is my last MCSE exam. I'll take the specialization exam too but first things first.

    A lot. Most of the 299 material actually comes from 291 and 293. It's a little more in-depth, but it's just more of the same.

    I have been hearing that 299 is what it is, and 298 is how to design it.
    299 goes into pretty good depth for SSL, PKI, hardening servers. Its not a big book and I felt it covered the exam objectives fairly well.

    Pretty much. I used my 299 materials (Nuggets, Transcender, and MS Press) for both exams and took them at the same time.
