move image and files

I have a 2620xm loaded with cme and other files. I wanted to move this to a 2651xm router, I am planning to just t.f.t.p out all the 2620 files into the 2651xm, any issues or tips appreciate your inputs.

Nope. Just T FTP everything across. The only thing you might want to check is whether the config on the 2651XM has a specific IOS file in its configuration.

thanks tiersten, How about I back up all the files on the 2651 flash and then erase flash prior to loading the cme ios and other files.

The configuration isn't kept in the flash filesystem so reformatting won't do anything. All you need to check for is a boot system line in the configuration anyway. You don't need to delete it all.
