Didn't use any books! I found the materials in the Cisco Networking Academy Program sufficient for my studies, did Exploration, i loved that class, lots of fun practicals at the end of each chapter aswell as several decent packet tracker activities, CCNA1 which i did under Exploration also was far too much theory, but they really got the mixture right in 2! For the final know your Subnetting, VLSM and Route Summarization, aswell as Distance Vector and Link State Routing Protocols then you should as the test! On LAN Switching and Wireless, found it great at first, got a bit stuck towards halfway through haven't touched it much, going to pick up again on it, going to study for the JNCIA aswell, as its free until the end of this year, again just using the materials on my login for CCNA3 LAN Switching and Wireless, you should be fine, 1 is the hardest getting into it after that its fine! Keep in touch!
