UDF (uniqueness database file) Need Some Help!

I already read the technotes and I know that the UDF file works in conjuntion with the anwser file, allowing you to override some settings in the answer file to further streamline the unattended installation process. But my real ? is

Can you also use the UDF file for Sysprep and RIS installations????????
Thats the only other thing i could find.

UDF is used when your installing the Operating System over the network, I've only used it for RIS.
