xevious Member Posts: 59 ■■□□□□□□□□gmail is not open to the public yet. But those that joined earlier on in their beta program can invite others.
Awhile back I was able to invite 6 people, but I'm all out. sorry.
Ghent - you're right, Main Event needs to send an e-mail invite for you to join. -

ANoland Member Posts: 1 ■□□□□□□□□□For those who use Hotmail, GMail invites are blocked, Yahoo simply puts them in the junk/bulk mail folder (I don't use Yahoo mail so I don't know what it's called) But you can still recieve e-mails from GMail.

BulletToothTony Member Posts: 66 ■■□□□□□□□□You know, in a way I really can't blame hotmail for blocking, although it goes against the EULA you agree to when you get your account. If everything I read is true about gMail, then Google will have solidified itself as not only the #1 search engine, but aslo will become the number one email account. The only thing I don't like about what I have read is that they way they are making money off of this is to allow webbots to scram through your emails and select various words that could be attributed to the banners you'll see once in your account. But a gig of storage and their organization seems to outdue anything else. Even exchange, figuring you have an 8gig container with exchange divided by how many people? That leaves you with ? for starage. gMail will be the way to go. For those who have it, how far off have the articles been?
