2008 R2 & .NET Framework 1.1

I loaded up Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard on my test machine at the office, and I've hit a snag. The insurance software we use requires .NET Framework 1.1 SP1. Any time I try to install it, I get a message that it's not meant for Windows XP 64bit. Am I screwed?

Out of all the agencies using this software, I'm the only one attempting to use Windows Server 2008 (they had to give me a registry hack to make it bypass version checking on the installer). The software company isn't even testing 2008, which is pretty pathetic. If we have to stick with Windows Server 2003 on our terminal servers, that means for each new server we set up we have to buy another license for ScrewDrivers so people can print ($1,500 per server). Plus I was really looking forward to RDC 7 (client is coming out 4th quarter) for our multiple monitor users. icon_sad.gif
