ASA suggestions

I am starting my ISCW, and also need to get some time with this device for some side work that I do. I am not quite sure the ISCW covers the ASA product line? I was also was not finding much on emulating this product through Dynamips, or something of the like. I figured I would start here, since I know there is much first hand experience. If I were to pickup the 10 user ASA 5505, would that show me the ropes enough or are their feature sets in the more expensive ASA devices that I would be missing out on?

Nope, the ISCW doesn't cover the ASA.

GNS3 supports PEMU which lets you emulate an ASA (or more) with some emulated routers.

Check out some of the videos over at blindhog.net PEMU

You will have a much easier time learning ASA features. ASA in qemu = 90% of knowledge, but it comes attached to a world of pain.

What device the the ISCW cover? PIX firewalls or does it just use routers running advanced features images?

    Thanks
