Stumped - Network Simulation
Hi All,
I am totally stumped. And wonder if anyone can help please.
Basically I am carrying out simulations on the network simulator OPNET for my dissertation.
However I have come across a guide which has flipped my understanding on its head.
In the guide there is a FDDI ring consisting of 3 switches with 3 nodes connected to each switch (9nodes in total).
And all they have done is put 5 different levels of traffic through the network
Low
Low/Medium
Medium
Medium/High
High
Its basically the results which throws me out I cant see how they got them.
I quote "We can observe that, as expected, as network load increases, end-to-end delay in the network decreases"
It has a graph with it which shows exactly that.
Any ideas?
Cheers
