Tunnel bandwidth

We have tunnels from our two main hubs to 9 off-site locations. Initially we had 256k links to each site and the tunnel bandwith was set to 256. Since then we have upgraded the links, some to 1MB and some to 2MB.

My question is, can I change the tunnel bandwidth to 1000 and 2000 without dropping the links?

If you are just adding the bandwidth statement it won't bring the link down.
