Metric Manipulation in OSPF to RIP
Hello,
Reference to book page 238 first two lines.
When i see 10.0.5.0/24 network on R6 and R7 router metric is 14 while i see it on RIP router it turn out to be metric 2. Can anyone guide me metric calculation of OSPF redistribution to RIP?
Regards

hoogen82 Member Posts: 272Well you could actually not say reset.. But since the connection to R6 to the external routers is using RIP to communicate routes... Rip metric is used..IS-IS Sleeps.
