I took (and passed) the CCNA exam about 3.5 years ago, and let the thing expire -- I don't have the routers and switches to play with anymore. I was wondering if I should go for CCNA recertification or go for CCDA?

dissolved Inactive Imported Users Posts: 228if you let your CCNA expire, then take a CCNP or CCDA exam, does it renew your old ccna?

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminCCDA does not recertify even a current CCNA. Once your CCNA is expired you will have to take the CCNA exam again, even if you would pass a 642-xxx (i.e. CCNP) exam.
