Free hyper v server question - noob!

I am thinking about using the free version of hyper-v server 2008 to host some vm's, but what tool can we use to connect into them once they are created? any equivalent to v-sphere for hyper-v? I realise this is probably a daft question, but i know nothing about hyper-v yet!
EDIT: Further to this, I am trying to find a hyper v manager/management tools for vista business x86 but i cant find any! The one's I have tried from the Microsoft website say this update does not apply to your system. Heeelllpppp!!
EDIT again: Found hyper v manager mmc snap in! Problem was corrupt download by the looks of it. That gives me something else to sort out.

Hyper-Me Banned Posts: 2,059There is hyper-V manager (which you found), and if you are looking for a management sytem for multiple hosts then take a look at System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2.

buchatech Member Posts: 89 ■■□□□□□□□□This is not a full blown management tool but still kind of cool. It is called Hyper-V Monitor Gadget for Windows Sidebar. This gives you real time monitoring of your Hyper-V VM's. It lets you shutdown, restart, and start up the VM's. Here is the link to download it:

I have hyper v setup and working now, bit of a pain to get it working - dcom, rpc and firewall access etc - hvremote tool helped though.
