Passed 70-290 Today

Glad to have passed this exam after being in a job where I’ve had to manage and maintain this operating system for a few years – though I got a score of 718 which I felt a little disappointed with on a personal level. (in hindsight I didn’t study enough).

The exam itself wasn’t too bad – 40 questions in total with 3 hours to complete. I did have a fair few number of simulations, some being a lot easier than others. One thing I noted was that I didn’t have any ‘chose all that apply’ questions.

I used the Mike Meyers’ Certification Passport books as my main study resource.

Congratulations!

I just missed my first attempt at 70-290 a few weeks ago. In hindsight, I had the wrong study plan, and studied the wrong areas. I'm sitting for the second attempt tomorrow afternoon.
