in CCNA & CCENT
Hello,
I am currently a student finishing the ccna course (in college), and I am planning on taking the CCNA in 2010.
I have a quick question, I read some information on here about something is changing on the CCNA (something more than just information being rotated around), so I wanted to make sure any books that I purchased would still be useful for me.
And another question...
As far as books, I purchased the 31 days before your CCNA Exam - Allan Johnson already.
What other book(s) would you recommend?
Thank you so much everyone, and I love the tons of information that is supplied here!

Thanks for the reply,
I am waiting until then because immediately after I am done with the CCNA course (ends in December), the CCNP course starts up (in January).
I am not sure if I will be that well prepared by December because I am taking five courses so it is a work load.
Do you know where I would be able to find the CCNA testing schedule?
Thanks again for the reply!
Also, if anyone knows any answers to my original post or any recommendations, please do inform me.
Thank you very much! -

billscott92787 Member Posts: 933Will you be taking it through pearson vue? If so go to Computer-Based Testing Provider for Certification and Licensure Exams: Pearson VUE and register. You can then click on the test and get more information on available testing dates.

The Sybex CCNA Study Guide by Todd Lammle is great for subnetting -- and is more of a "fun read" so it makes either a good "beginning book" or a "review book"
Links to the books are in the CCNA Forum FAQ
For testing go to Computer-Based Testing Provider for Certification and Licensure Exams: Pearson VUE and find the test centers near you -- and see what times they have available.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set!
