Hyper Terminal for Server 2003?
I know this relates to Cisco but I figured since it primarily deals with the OS, I would post here. Please move it as you see fit!
I am setting up a Cisco lab, and would like to use my Windows Server 2003 machine to connect to a console on the router, potentially 2 since there are 2 ports for it. In XP there is the hyper terminal program which does nicely, but what can I use on Server 03 OS? The server is a file server on a simple peer-to-peer network. I'm working on getting my Cisco cert before going on to my MCSA, so I'm not worrying about domains or anything yet.
I installed the terminal server but have no idea of what this does, except it seems to work for computer remote assistance, rather than connecting to a router.
All help/suggestions are greatly appreaciated.
Thanks
