how do offlines work precisely?
x_Danny_x
when a user goes to work at home and makes his files or folders that he wanted to work with OFFLINE while he was connected in the network, does it make a copy of the files in his laptop so that he can work with and then it synchronizes with the server so it can update it.
is that how it goes?

Offline files and folders capablility is a feature that enables
network
folders and files to be stored on W2k clients. These folders/files can then be accessed even if the network location is not available--server is down, or you've taken the laptop home, etc.
The automatic sync with the server is an option that you can choose.
This was good review for myself! Thanks.
Hope this helps.
