Woooooo hoooooo !! Finally. I started this certification track in June of this year, and after 6 months I am finished, and it feels great! And I am happy to say I saved my best score on 70-647, I got a 910. Yeah!
I felt I was very well prepared for this exam. I used the MS-Press kit, read through the Sybex book, did the Measure Up test, and did lots of digging around in Technet every time I came across something I wasn’t really comfortable or familiar enough with. It paid off. I was very relaxed when taking the test. I was through it in about an hour and change, but I spent about 15 minutes reviewing about 4-5 questions I wasn’t sure of. Out of 40 questions, my score indicates I got about 36.5 correct. There were 2 questions which I just couldn’t wrap my head around and figure out where they were going. Other than that, I felt like I knew what I was doing.
THANK YOU to all here on this board who’ve made the last 6 months tolerable! It has been an experience as it usually is. Aside from the initial NT 4.0 track, this upgrade was the most rewarding for me, just because of personal circumstances that made it a little more challenging than previous upgrades.
I’ll probably hang around a bit and help out others who are still doing their certs. No more exams for me for a while!
My plans now – upgrade my organization from XP/Office 2003 to Windows 7/Office 2007, Win Server 2003 to 2008, and Exchange 2003 to 2010. Yes, I will be a BUSY MCITP:EA!!
