May be a stupid cisco SAN question but I need help!
I am looking at a cisco 9222i and can't seem to find an answer. If I have single mode fiber coming into one SFP on the 9222i and have multi mode fiber coming in on another SFP??

bmwagner Member Posts: 15 ■□□□□□□□□□We have fiber coming in via single mode. ususally you have some sort of hand-off to change to multi-mode. So my question is can the 9222i do the hand-off?

The device supports multimode and single-mode transceivers as per here:
Cisco MDS 9222i Multiservice Modular Switch [Cisco MDS 9200 Series Multilayer Switches] - Cisco Systems
So you can physically connect. Beyond that some connectivity will work, other scenarios will not. What are you trying to achieve?
