Error 403 accessing Windows Updates
Have a user who is getting this error when trying to check for updates. Website checks for necessary files, then comes back with a 403 error denying access.
I searched technet, they suggest:
turning off anti virus (did - same error).
turn off web accelerator (there is none)
download scripten.exe and run (says the one on machine is newer and terminates)
Update: Also tried adding windowsupdate.com and windowsupdate.microsoft.com in trusted sites - no luck.
Tried ipconfig /flushdns - ipconfig /registerdns - no joy.
Any ideas on where to go further?
