I passed Security+ today....barely

I scored 750 and while I am not proud of my score.....it is passing which = certification!!! Woooohoooo!! I had better keep reading on the subject.

I now have A+, Security+ now on to Net+!

Any suggested study guides, tips for Net+??

    I would say it is a good cert to get, if you are going to go down the 2003 MS path, or if you desire to work for the government. If not , you may want to consider the CCENT.

    At any rate I used the Mike Myers book to pass. But that was on old objectives. I remember studying different cable types, OSI layers and protocols on those layers, and various info like that. I would suggest studying on IPV6 as well.

    Hey, a Pass is a Pass... So long as you know the material.

    As for the Network+: I would print out the objectives, and go over them one at a time until you have the material down.

    I took the 2005 Network+ exam, and used the Exam Cram as a study guide, the Syngress book, Techexams, Proprofs.com, Wiki, and Google.
