MCSA / MCSE Path advice...

I was just trying to figure out my path towards MCSA and MCSE.

I have A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, and MCP (70-270) so far. This is what I was hoping to do:

70-270, 70-290, 70-291, A+, Network+ = MCSA?

Then...

All the Above, 70-293, 70-294, 70-680, 70-297, Security+ = MCSE?

Am I correct on this?

This is correct. But why not go for the 298? Then tack on the 70-351 and you have MCSE Security. People have been saying the 298 is the easier of the two.

Go for the 298 instead of the 297?

After those, I would obtain an MCSE: 2003 Server?
Tacking on the 351 will earn the MCSE: Security?

Yes. Here are my certs that got me the MCSE Security:
    270
    290
    291
    350
    293
    294
    298
    Security+

This is the route I took:
270>290>291>293>294>298>299. I used my A+/Net+ as an elective for the MCSA. You can use your security+ for the MCSE:Security.

the 270 counts as the client exam, so you don't need to take the 680, unless you want the extra MCTS cert.

For the MCSE:Security, you need the 298 and either the 299, or 350. There might be another elective, but I don't recall.

Got to CompTIA's site and have them transfer your certs from them to MS, so it can be added to your transcript, it will speed things up when finishing the MCSA/MCSE.

    Good luck! :D
