Dear TE Members,
As the year closes I am reviewing my accomplishments from 2010. I moved from a job at a place with impossibly demanding and unethical management to a job I enjoy working with people and technology that I like.
In 2009 I passed the following exams:
444 PRO: Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005
686 PRO: Windows 7, Desktop Administration
443 PRO: Designing a Database Server Infrastructure by Using Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005
680 TS: Windows 7, Configuring
Linux+ Beta
And I owe a lot of this to TE members who helped me with resources and advice.
· Hyper-Me put together some killer study guides for the Windows 7 exams and was always willing to help me out with advice about labs that I didn’t quite get right.
· Dynamik for introducing me to some cool tools for iSCSI
· Bertieb & BeaverC32 for resources for SQL Server and clustering.
Of course there are also the usual suspects from the forum who rock like eMes, veritas, rsutton, Fade, Bokeh, NightShade and too many others to mention who keep the information flowing and who don’t seem to mind my sense of humor.
So, just sending a thank you out to all of you. I hope I didn’t miss anyone. You all rock!
