For .NET 2.0? With .NET 4.0 on the verge of being released?

I realize that 2.0 is the foundation of .NET, and 3.x and 4.0 have only added feature without changing the foundation, but it's still curious as to why they would market it with as old "2.0".icon_scratch.gif

I was looking for "Official" course for a long time and was under the impression that the only way to get it is to sign up for the "boot camp". So releasing 2.0 now make sense so the MS partners can advertise 3.5 and 4.0
BTW I was ready to take the "boot camp" but the only one available was in LA (I'm from Oregon)
