Any Ubuntu users here are problably already aware that within 9.10 (been a big since 8.04 so I'm told) that you are unable to succesfully connect to wireless networks with hidden SSIDs. NetworkManager keeps throwing up the 'enter key' dialog box.
The bug is recorded here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/446394
My question to you guys - is has anyone here managed to find a successful workaround for this?
I've tired the suggested 'test' updates etc and all to no avail

Of course, including the updates that are in 'testing' and have not yet been released. Seem to be a problem affecting a numerous array of wireless network adapters from what I've been reading. -
