Computer Science degrees usually involve programing and theory. -

Comp information systems CIS, has different routes you can take, networking, microsoft or cisco, server admin, computer technician that type of deal.
so if you don't like programming as much, you'd be better off choosing a CIS route. -

I have a CS degree, CIS option and it was geared towards database. Less programming compared to CS and lower level math classes (only up to pre-calc). Programming (VB, C++, Java, data structures ect...), database (main focus), HCI, software engineering and a few business classes sprinkled in. I took networking as a minor, but they were generic classes. NACSE I believe. They were kind of useless though.
I'm sure there are many different choices for degrees now if you're interested in IT.
